With the hard work and dedication of residents and project partners, the draft Southside Terrace – Indian Hill Transformation Plan was submitted to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) on November 22.

Now, a Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant application is available.  The Implementation Grant would fund implementation of the Transformation Plan.  The Implementation Grants are highly competitive, 5-year grants, up to $50 million.

We have three upcoming meetings for residents and stakeholders to learn more and provide feedback:

For Southside Terrace Residents:
Friday, January 28th at 4:30pm
The Simple Foundation, 3003 Q Street

For Southside Terrace – Indian Hill Neighborhood (open to the public):
Saturday, January 29th at 2:00pm
Kroc Center, 2825 Y Street

Virtual / On-line Meeting (open to the public):
Tuesday, February 1 at 7:00pm
bit.ly/fromplanningtoaction

The virtual / on-line meeting will be live streamed to OHA’s Facebook Page and recorded and posted at SoChoice.org after the meeting.

The Plan may be done, but now the hard work begins – implementation!
